So the pizza is 9.5. Absolutely delicious. I don't know why some people get pepperoni and complain that it's greasy. That's what pepperoni is people.

The only reason I can't give a 5 is the prices. They were high the first time I went, then just 2 days later they went up more. Nearly $8 for 2 slices, no matter the toppings, is not acceptable.

So this place will be a great treat once in a while.

Ayo, lemme tell ya somethin' 'bout Joe and Anthony's Pizzeria. This place is the real freakin' deal, ya hear me? You walk in, you can smell the magic in the air. The crust? Fuggedaboutit! It’s crispy, it’s chewy, it’s perfect. None of that soggy stuff you get from those other joints.

The sauce? Fahgettaboudit! It’s like they got a Nonna in the back squeezin' tomatoes fresh off the vine. It’s got that perfect tang, a lil' sweet, a lil' savory. And the cheese? Ya sistas tomatas!!! They ain't cheapin' out on you, it’s piled high, melted to perfection. You bite into a slice, and it’s like a symphony in your mouth.

You like toppings? They got 'em all. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, you name it. And lemme tell ya, they don’t skimp. You get your money’s worth here, no doubt about it.

The guys behind the counter? They’re like your cousins. Always crackin' jokes, always rememberin' your name, always makin' you feel like you’re part of the family. You want a slice or a pie? They got you covered.

So if you’re lookin' for a slice of the best freakin' pizza in North NJ, you gotta get yourself over to Joe and Anthony’s. One bite, and you’ll know what I’m talkin' about. This place? It’s a legend. Don’t just take my word for it, get over there and see for yourself!

July 2024 update

Awesome Sicilian pie. Got a side of spinach and an order of garlic bread with cheese, requested a side of marinara but didn't get it. Can't win em all.

Great pizza. Little pepperoni cups are always a plus. The rest of the food is average to terrible. Calamari overcooked to death.

I used to love Joe and Anthony’s when they first opened. Now I really feel like it’s not the same food. I ordered a thin crust pizza which I’ve ordered before and this time it was just not good. The crust was subpar. There was no fluffiness and was just like flatbread. Very disappointing. I’m giving it three stars because I used to love it so much I’m hoping this review will help them get back on track.

This pizza was so greasy it was disgusting. We arrived shortly after 11. The doors weren't unlocked yet. Only plain pizza and pepperoni were available. Got 2 slices of each. The amount of grease was the same on both.

My husband & I just moved to Netcong a few months ago & were dying to find our new go-to pizza spot. ‘Joe & Anthony’s’ did NOT disappoint! The drunken grandma pie (we did half vodka sauce half marinara sauce) was out of this world. Crispy, delicious, flavorful with a hint of garlic in every bite was exactly what we were craving. Can’t wait to go back & try more of their food.10/10

2/2021 - After 3 years finally had the chance to go back, and I am glad I did. The Margherita Pizza is amazing. All fresh homemade ingredients make this a must have pizza. You cannot go wrong with a Grandma Pizza as well. Anthony has been a Pizziolo for over 30 years and takes tremendous pride in the Pizza that he delivers.
3/2019 3.5 -Stopped in for a quick slice on the go. The place was clean, but only offered a few stools to sit, so I am assuming that this will be more of a grab a pizza on the run type of place. Good size slice of pizza and they do not cut corners on their speciality slices. Judging against the best pizza in the state, this place falls in the middle with 3 stars. Wasn't great.. wasn't bad. I believe the owners also run the local Frank's Pizza that is 2.5 miles down the road. I will be back to order my next pie..

I ordered for the first time today they told me an hour for delivery because they only have one delivery person which is fine I get it but if I knew they were going to cook the pizza right when I ordered I would have never ordered! The pizza was ice cold and whoever cut it must be blind I have never had a pizza cut like this in my life! If you need to ward off vampires order the garlic bread there is so much garlic you will stink for weeks and it tasted like the garlic was bad it looks like Jared garlic to me! I refuse to taste the pizza because it’s so cold!
